I/FOLD delivers interactive and automatic flat pattern development ofthree-dimensional fabricated part models. I/FOLD generates flat patternsfrom 3-D part geometry in I/EMS or I/DESIGN. The 2-D flat pattern can beused directly in Intergraph's downstream fabrication applications such asnesting, punching/nibbling (I/PUNCH), and flame/laser/plasma cutting. TheI/FOLD package consists of five modules, including flat pattern, unroll,layout, unwrap, and tube bending.
